Ulysses

2021

A book cover design for Ulysses written by James Joyce. The idea was initiated from the project I did during my MA course, which explored the way of illustrating through texts only.

The visual elements applied in the design were created in analogue approaches, in which I ‘drew’ the texts and mono-printed the image. The final artwork was later digitally created in Photoshop.

Left: Texts drawn by hand. Right: Image created by mono-print.
