Needy Greeting Card

This work is a self-directed project as I was exploring a type of greeting card that can contain a simple yet easy-to-grasp narrative, which carries out the pace of a short story as the card unfolded.

The first work I made for exploring the idea is a Christmas Card.

The Christmas card work helped me to decide a 4-page accordion is the simplest way to show a narrative, which contains a start on page 1 and a conclusion on page 4, while leaving some blank spaces on page 2 to 3 for writing messages. The format also makes the card easily stand as a decoration.

I finalised the illustrations through digital drawing, and the final outcome is a series of greeting cards containing three designs.
